Privacy Policy

BuzzRolls ("we," "us," or "our") operates BuzzRolls Studio, our AI editing harness for Adobe Premiere Pro, and the website at buzzrolls.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our services.

By using BuzzRolls, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, please see the section on your rights under GDPR below.

How BuzzRolls Studio Works

BuzzRolls Studio connects three parts: a plugin that runs inside Adobe Premiere Pro on your computer, our cloud service that exposes editing tools and handles tasks that run outside Premiere Pro (such as transcription and file transfer), and an AI agent that you provide and connect (for example Claude Code or ChatGPT Codex). Your AI agent directs the editing by calling tools on our cloud service, which in turn instructs the plugin to act on your Premiere Pro project. Understanding this flow helps explain what data we receive and why.

Age Requirement

You must be at least 16 years old to use BuzzRolls. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a person under 16, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create a BuzzRolls account, we collect your email address and password. Your password is stored in encrypted form. We do not collect your name, address, or phone number unless you voluntarily provide it (for example, in a support request).

Payment Information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, expiration date, or CVC on our servers. Stripe handles all payment data in accordance with PCI-DSS standards. We receive and store only a transaction identifier, your subscription status, and billing history from Stripe. For more information, see Stripe's privacy policy.

Tool-Call and Activity Data

As your AI agent uses BuzzRolls Studio, our cloud service receives and logs the tool calls made on your behalf. This includes which tools were called, the parameters sent with them, the results and any errors returned, timestamps, and session information, all associated with your account. Tool-call parameters can include things like transcript snippets, search terms, file paths, clip and timeline details, and instructions derived from your project.

We collect, store, and retain this data and may review, analyze, and use it, including the logs of individual accounts and not only aggregate patterns, for any purpose related to operating, billing, supporting, securing, debugging, improving, and developing the Service and our products, as well as to detect and prevent abuse and to comply with applicable law.

Video and Audio Data

When you use BuzzRolls Studio, we process transcripts of the audio from your video so that the Service can understand your content, for example to search for and select relevant stock footage. Transcription is performed by a third-party transcription provider (currently AssemblyAI), and audio or visual excerpts may be analyzed by Google's Gemini API where needed for a given feature. We may collect, process, store, and retain transcripts, audio and visual excerpts, and any data derived from your media as needed to provide, improve, and develop the Service.

Some BuzzRolls Studio features require transferring media files. When you direct the Service to upload or download a file (for example, to transcribe a clip, deliver stock footage, or move media for processing), that file passes through our cloud endpoints so the operation can complete. We may process, transmit, store, and retain these files as necessary to perform the operation and to operate the Service.

Data Sent to Your AI Agent

Because BuzzRolls Studio is driven by an AI agent that you provide and connect (such as Claude Code from Anthropic or ChatGPT Codex from OpenAI), your prompts and the contents of tool calls are also handled by that AI provider. We do not control how your chosen AI provider collects, uses, or retains that data. Its handling is governed by that provider's own privacy policy and terms, which you should review.

Analytics Data

We use Google Analytics and Umami to collect standard analytics data when you visit our website. This may include your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring URL, and time spent on pages. This data helps us understand how visitors use our website.

Cookies

We use cookies for authentication (keeping you logged in) and for analytics purposes through Google Analytics and Umami. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect your ability to use BuzzRolls.
