No. If you use the Claude Desktop app, the whole experience is a chat window. You talk, the agent drives Premiere Pro. You never have to open a terminal or edit a config file, because our setup prompt handles all of that for you.
Edit talking-head A-roll from the transcript, apply keyframed effects (scale, position, opacity, rotation) with easing, add transitions (cross dissolve, dip, film dissolve, push, slide, wipe, iris, and more), rearrange and trim clips, ripple-edit, close gaps, inspect timeline state, and export frames for analysis. New tools ship continuously.
It can't watch video yet. It works from metadata, transcripts, and individual frames it can export and inspect. It doesn't reach every Premiere Pro feature (we're adding more every week). And it won't replace human taste; you still direct the edit, and Studio makes the mechanical work fast.
Studio runs your agent's tool calls against your Premiere Pro instance. Timeline metadata and transcripts pass through our cloud bridge so your agent can reason about them. Your actual video files stay on your machine. We don't upload source footage.
Early Access pricing is locked in as long as your subscription stays active. When Studio graduates to general availability, standard pricing will be higher, but Early Access subscribers keep the $19/mo rate.
